Options on this boat include flotation,side decks, floorboards, console, and culling board. The fiberglass sheathing was done at another shop with a chopper gun.

I built the bare hull around 2002, the customer finished it out very nicely.

The design for my work and fishing skiffs is based on the Brockway boats. Rugged, stable, and inexpensive, these flat-bottom boats are intended for use in along shore fisheries such as shellfishing, aquaculture, etc. I call these boats Lumber Yard Skiffs [LYS], because most of the materials I built the first boats from are available from the local lumber yard. These days most boats are built with Meranti Marine ply, the least expensive marine ply.
