Sides fastened, bottom being fit. There is no lumber chine log, I use a composite chine consisting of 17 oz. Bi-axial tape set in epoxy on both sides of the joint.

Bottom fit and faired, outer composite joint tape applied. I also used a Payson joint on the bottom, to eliminate a butt block there.

Interior thwarts in place . You can also see the inside tape on the chines. This boat has a locust mid-thwart, mid-frames, and foot braces. The other thwarts are 3/4" Sapele marine ply with Sapele edges. the inside bottom is sheathed in Dynel.

Exterior is also sheathed in Dynel, and the skeg is locust.
